Yup, you read that correctly! I'm going on a mini vacay! Between summer school and AOII, I am wayyyy overdue for a break. Many of you may be a tad confused as to why I need a break since I just got back from Arizona on Sunday, but let me just tell you...that was NOT a vacation. My days were filled with business sessions, guest speakers and a million different meetings. Don't get me wrong, I had a wonderful time at this years biannual convention, but I barely got any sleep. Between the time zone change and our jam packed schedules, I'm pretty sure I came back even more exhausted than when I left. This week has been pretty stressful too. I left my wallet on the plane so I lost everything, I repeat EVERYTHING. My debit card, cash, id, gift cards, necklace from my grandmother, student id card, JBT concert ticket (which I failed to purchase insurance on) and million other small, trivial things. The state of GA has really put me through the ringer these past few days because I am just now getting everything back in order. On top of it all, I had a test on Monday(which I failed) and 9-12 page paper due Wednesday and I have a 6-8 page paper due tomorrow! HOLY STRESS. The second 4 o'clock rolls around I am sprinting out of my class and heading down to the beach. Although this beach trip isn't going to be all relaxation (I have a test on July 5th, the day I get back. Cool.) A few days is better than nothing! I'm so sorry for not keeping yall very updated this past week but the stress of summer is just getting to me. Whoa. Did I really just say that? Summer is NOT supposed to be stressful! Anyways, don't forget to keep checking back everyday to see my song post! I always manage to find the time to post one :)
